Week 2 - FCC123

By the end of this week, I have learned about the Information Technology (IT). Information Technology (IT) is any computer-based tool that people use to work with information and to support the information and to support the information and information-processing needs of an organization.

 I also have learned about Information Technology Architecture (IT Architecture) and Information Technology Infrastructure (IT Infrastructure). According to that, IT Architecture is a high level map or plan that the information assets in an organization. IT Infrastructure include the physical facilities, IT components, IT services, and IT personnel that support an entire organization. IT component includes computer hardware, software, and communication technologies. It services includes data management, systems development and security management.

 

I have known about the global web-based platform. Globalization is the integration and interdependence of economic, social, culture, and ecological facets of life, enable by rapid advances of IT. I also have known the stages of globalization which are globalization 1.0 (from 1492 to 1800), globalization 2.0 (from 1800 to 2000) and globalization 3.0 (from 2000 to the present). i also have learned about the great Convergence.
