IT Fundamental Week 3

     We have many example about good user centered design but i will choose the popular and easy to use as well as Facebook. In my opinion, Facebook that good website i have used , Facebook can be thought as your home on the internet. It's a place that people can go to leave your a message, look at your photo collection, or even chats with you while you are online. It can be great way to keep in contact with friends and family, and even find long lost friends that you haven't spoken to in years. You can write anything you want and also can comment your friend status, know what are they doing via photos. You can play online games that Facebook allows to you, you also can use Facebook applications so find out who you are related on Facebook and also chat with any friends that they are online. You can also use Facebook for business such as connect with co-worker and old co-worker to keep the workplace networking. It's a fact that one of the best ways to find a new job is to be recommended by a friends, so keeping up with business contacts can be very important. Even wonder what happened to your best friends from high school or middle school? With many people joining Facebook, it's becoming the great place to looking your old friends and getting back in touch. That's why, i think that Facebook is one of the best user centered design that i have used.

IT Fundamental Week 9

     Adaptability is a requirement for the success of IT professional. Adaptability is absolutely necessary in order to handle the changes of IT things. Adaptability is one of key skill required for IT programmers and engineering. And then, IT professional has become important instrument that take parts of change of organizations because adaptable IT professional learn quickly, and know how technology changes. Interpersonal skill also can be a part of success of IT professional. If people improve and increase their interpersonal skill connect to common community and develop ability to work in group, so they can take advances and success into IT projects.

IT Fundamental Week 8

     Education is affected not only happened in education parts but also happened in society, technology communication and others. We can't refuse that the development of IT has taken the significant role of education over the world. For example, classroom start to have computers, university use social network like Facebook to connect and announce for students. Almost students use information fro internet to distribute their work. Hand phones are used for replacing to take notes and slides. The importance of social platform also keeps raising as they facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience making students have changed the way of thinking. We have 3 main educational technology trends:  Curriculum, Open Education Resource, and Learning Analytic..

IT Fundamental Week 7

     Traditional businesses that have moved to digital firm and how globalization has changed their way to do business:
     Going back to the business history, we can see the stories related to companies that operate all over the global that have exchanged from small business to huge business. On the other hands, that things happened to the innovation of the IT and now this IT has become the key part of the development of cooperation global business strategy. The emergency of global economy, transformation of the business enterprise and the emergency of digital firm make IT advances more advantages for business nowadays. All these things changes are result of development of globalization in the world. Again, i argue that the development of IT have changes our life and our business. That's why the companies have added IT as main role in their global business strategy nowadays. 

IT Fundamental Week 5

     Nanotechnology: is the manipulation of matter on atomic and molecular scale. Nanotechnology as defined by size is naturally very broad, including fields of science such as science, biology, chemistry... Nanotechnology may be able to create many new materials and devices such as medicine, electronic and energy production. And also nanotechnology raises many same issues, including concern about toxicity and environment, and their potential effects on global economics.
     Grid Computing: is the federation of computer resources from from multiple location to reach a goal to solve a task which is disappear quickly. One of main strategies of grid computing is to use middleware to divide pieces of program among several computers or can up to many thousands. 
     Quantum Computing: is the computation device that make direct use of quantum mechanical phenomena to perform operations on data. Quantum computing is different from digital computers based on transistors. Quantum computing isn't good suited for tasks but it's still ideal for tasks.
     Semantic Web: is the collaborative movement led by international standard body as well as the World Wide Web Consortium(W3C). The standard promotes common data formats on the World Wide Web. Semantic Web aims at converting the current web dominated by unstructured and semi-structured documents into a web of data. And also according to W3C: Semantic Web provides a common framework that allows data to be shared across applications, enterprise and community boundaries.
   

IT Fundamental Week 4

     The CEO's of companies or organisations easy to have stress when they see the increasing of complexity in communication and environment that they have responsible to it. Complexity provides primary problem strategy, which is easy successful in short term but will be difficult in long term. i trust that CEOs and their organizations, avoiding complexity is not an option is correct. Anyway, CEOs should consider the important role of complexity with their organization  so they can increase and also improve income and profit of the organization.

IT Fundamental Week 2

     Computing disciplines have 5 kinds: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Cognitive Science, Computer Engineering. 
+ Computer Science(CS): CS concerns with foundation of computing, programming techniques to operate system and information. The main of CS is artificial intelligence, computer architecture and engineering, software engineering and programmer... 
+ Software Engineering(SE): SE concerns with design, testing and safety software application. The main of SE is the integration of CS principles and engineering practices to constructing software system. 
+ Information Systems(IS): IS concerns with the application of computing principles to process business and management. The main of IS is the design, implementation, and testing of IS applied to business fields such as economy, human resource, and finance... 
+ Cognitive Science(CoS): Cos concerns with the combination of 3 computing disciplines: CS, CE and SE. CoS includes research on intelligence and behavior, especially focus on how information is represented, processed and transformed with human systems and machines.
+ Computer Engineering(CE): CE concerns with design and construction processor-based systems comprised of hardware and software. The main of CE is the synthesis of electrical engineering and CS applied to design of systems cellular communication, phones...
     "Most CS people laugh at MIS/IT people": In my opinion, this sentence is totally wrong. Both CS and MIS/IT are same level so we can't say CS better than MIS/IT. This sentence depends on the people ideas and what do they think about subject that they choose. For example, one company accept 4 or 5 CS people but just choose only 1 or 2 MIS/IT people so CS people can laugh at them. This one also depend on experience of them. And also both CS and MIS/IT support each other so CS people shouldn't laugh at MIS/IT people.
     "MIS/IT people make more money and manage the CS folks": In my opinion, this sentence is not true because the salary depend on the country like MIS/IT people can get more money in Malaysia but low salary in Vietnam. But in some company, MIS/IT people manage CS folks because MIS/IT job is managing and controlling company and CS job is designing and producing software or program.
